Aside from being a place of worship, the Baiturrahim Mosque is now become a tsunami tourist attraction for tourists visiting Banda Aceh. To get to this destination, it only takes 10-minute drive from the city centre. The Baiturrahim Mosque stands near the entrance to the Ulee Lheue beach tourist area.
